This edition has been completely reorganized and expanded. It corresponds directly to the updated textbook "Life Span Motor Development", third edition. The learning activity guide, which replaces the old lab manual, features 49 learning experiences that may be used without laboratory equipment to take students through the procedures for collecting, analyzing and interpreting data in motor development. The learning activities provide students with hands-on experience in motor development, which allows students to experience, understand and apply the topics presented in each chapter of the textbook. Not only can the activity guide be used in a lab setting, but it can also be used by the instructor for tests and homework assignments. A major addition to this third edition is an interactive CD-ROM containing over 100 video clips that detail the characteristic developmental sequences for both learning and assessing fundamental motor skills.
