General Surgery Outpatient Decisions

This is a pocket-sized book outlining the general principles of out-patient surgery. A simple pocket-sized text for this speciality which can be read before or during the clinic when consultation with a senior colleague is not possible. This book describes a safe course of action for each situation when a senior colleague is not available. It provides an invaluable source of information for all SHOs, in particular, who often find themselves in the difficult position of having to deal with follow-up patients, enabling them to have some kind of action plan in mind before they walk into the patient consultation. Written in a non-didactic style, it stresses in the introduction that there are many ways of managing conditions correctly.
